They swam and swam near each other, enjoying each others company and their free time after school days. When they had enough they decided to surface. Suddenly, they saw a ship far ahead of them. They looked at each other and decided on something. Leonel went ahead and Samuel and the others followed. They swam as fast as they could going to the ship that was anchored and stalling. When Leonel got nearer the ship, he stopped and spoke catching his breath, "I think there's a whale hanging on the side of the ship." Cromwell stopped and looked. "Yeah, your right, there's a whale hanging on the side of that ship," Cromwell replied, catching his breath. "Yeah, there's really a whale hanging on that ship," uttered Sunny, Rigor, and the other kids, all catching their breaths. Leonel went ahead again. He swam going to the ship where the whale was hanging. Leonel saw the whale looking at them. The whale was struggling hard trying to free himself. "Boys I think, he needs our help. Look he's looking at us like he wants us to free him," Jeff said looking up at the whale hanging on the side of the ship. "He definitely does," Sunny replied. The other boys agreed. Jeff and Sunny decided to climb on the ship. Carefully, they climbed. Jeff and Sunny made sure that they wouldn't get caught. They knew catching whales were illegal and the crew definitely won't treat them well once they see them. They walked above the ship, and when they saw the chance, Jeff and Sunny released the whale. Rapidly, the whale fall down to the sea. Jeff and Sunny immediately looked down, searching for the whale. The whale slowly surfaced and looked up at Jeff and Sunny for a moment, he also looked towards the other young boys, all looking at him. The whale then went under and swam away. Quietly, the boys rejoiced at what they just did. They rescued a captured whale and set him free, free to return to his family. Jeff and Sunny then jumped down. They splashed landing back on the water. "Let's go before the crew notices us," Cromwell said. "Yeah let's go," the others agreed. They then swam back going to the beach front. They swam and swam and when they got near, they turned around and looked back at the ship. They smiled. "I wonder what those men would think once they noticed the whale they captured are gone," Jerome uttered and laughed. "Yeah, they'll probably grind their teeth and scratch their heads after they got sober. There were a lot of empty bottles of alcohol on that ship," Jeff stated laughing. The other boys agreed and laughed hard with him. The boys decided to swim once again. They swam and swam and once in a while they talked while they were catching their breaths. Finally, they decided to go home, they had enough and they still have chores to do at home. "How was your swim with your friends, huh Leonel?" his mother asked. "Fine mom, we enjoyed it a lot. There were only us in that beach, we felt like it was ours. Would you believe, we save a whale hanging on the side of the ship," Leonel told his mother. "Really," his mother just said. Days passed and the ten boys went back to their school. And after school they talked to each other, about each others lives and they also wondered what has happened to the whale, if they had found his family back in the sea. Saturday came and it was their time to go back to the beach they frequented. They fetched each other from their homes and hurried to the beach. When they got there, the boys ran and headed to the sea. They swam and swam once again. Suddenly, Cromwell saw something. He looked at it for a moment and realized something. "Hey, there's a whale ahead of us, look," Cromwell uttered. The other boys looked and saw the whale. "Yeah, that's certainly is a whale," James answered. "Its not just one, there many of them," Carmelo said when the other whales suddenly surfaced. Jeff went ahead and swam towards the whales, The other boys followed. Sunny suddenly realized something. "Hey look the one at the front, I think that's the whale we rescued," Sunny said aloud. Samuel looked. "Yeah, your right that's the same whale we rescued," Samuel agreed. The boys swam faster going to the whales. While they were swimming towards them, they counted and realized there were nine other whales swimming with the one they rescued. The whale they rescued swam forward meeting them. The whale stopped when he was near them..............They named the whale they rescued Jeff. Pleased, the other boys named the other whales after each others' names..............They became friends together with the whale’s friends. The boys rode the whales on their backs and played in the sea. The whales lined up with the boys on their backs, swimming, and racing with each other above and under the water. Afterwards, they gathered around and form a circle in the sea. The whales then jumped out of the water and fell on middle together. The boys enjoyed their friend whales and the whales were the same. When the boys grew up they joined the military and went for a rescue mission. They all died. The city mourned and the whales, saddened, decided to leave but then they saw ten new young boys, they immediately signaled a man who knew how they became friends to the first ten young boys. He agreed and pretended to capture one of them and hang him on the side. The new ten boys, Noel, Noah, Lyndon, Scott, Engelbert, Romeo, Manolo, Victor, Tadeo, and Sly swam and approached the side of the ship. Scott and Sly climbed up the ship. Carefully, they went nearer the ship, not wanting to be caught. And when Scott and sly got near, they rescued and set the whale free. Rapidly, the whale dropped down to the waters on the side of the ship. Pleased, the whale looked at the new young boys who released him. The man knew deep in his heart that the whales had found their new masters and friends. The young boys who were about sixteen years old in average age and the whale, with his fellow whales, saw each other again in the sea. All of them became friends. Noel, Noah, Lyndon, Scott, Engelbert, Romeo, Manolo, Victor, Tadeo, and Sly swam and rode the whales, doing everything with them that the first ten young boys did. The new ten young boys grew up and joined the military and left for a rescue on a foreign country.........
